Did your internet go down this morning?

Microsoft released some windows patches last night that don’t cooperate well with ZoneAlarm firewall software. The result was that millions of people woke up this morning and were unable to access the internet.

If this happened to you, here are some workarounds.

(Of course, this is assuming you were at least able to connect to read this…)

    I noticed it also didn’t affect people using Macs or Linux.

    Happened to us. We used the laptop for email yesterday, but for once didn’t read blogs all day. Dad sent the link via email and I was able to fix it!

    Yeah!

    Duh! I read this post on my Macbook, and forgot about it. When I got home and fired up my PC, I couldn’t connect to the internet. Called Daryl and he reminded me what was happening. Thanks for the fix, Daryl!
