Tomorrow (Friday) Gisele and I are driving to California to pick up Devon (and Keri) to bring them home for a 1-month long winter break. Over and back on the same day. It makes for a long day, but it’s easier than getting a hotel.

When you do that trip what do you drive? I’m guessing the van because you can’t fit all their bags in the car?

Yep, the van. Actually for this trip we could take the car, because all he is bringing home is his computer and some clothes. But in the spring and fall when we have to take his bicycle, computer, printer, etc. we stuff the van full.

We got home at 1:00 this morning. Late start out of Southern Cal, and bad Friday evening rush-hour traffic. But everyone is here, happy and healthy.
