We’re driving Devon and Keri back to California and college tomorrow (Sunday, 1/15). Over and back in one day again, as usual.
Our thoughts are with our “other” Carrie, Brian’s wife, as she goes through eye surgery.

Thanks for thinking of Carrie. She’s having lots of pain, but otherwise, doing well so far.

We got back home about 11:00pm last night.
We stopped for lunch at Coco’s next to Hadleys on the way there, and were almost blown over by the wind when we got out of the car. The “windmills” (power generaters) in the pass were definitely meeting all the local needs yesterday.

Was Hadley’s open?
They told me in CA that it wasn’t open anymore.

Hadley’s is still the same as I always remember it. Definitely open.

Those stinkers!!! How rude to tell me it was closed. Shows you what the competition has to do to keep up with Hadleys!!
