Devon was home for the Thanksgiving holidays, but is going back tomorrow (Sunday). I (Daryl) am going to ride back with him and spend a couple of days over there.
Devon’s job is still in limbo, as the company (or remnants of) figure out what they are going to do. Sounds like they still want to keep him around, but he may be asked to do marketing or sales, which he isn’t very interested in. We’ll see what happens.

It must be nice to have such a flexible schedule. Glad you can keep Devon company on his trip home. It was good to see him. We sure had a lot of fun playing games over the holidays.

And I was so happy to see Apollo! What a beautiful dog he is, and so gentle. It was a great two days, even though I was exhausted from doing nothing, and slept the entire day on Saturday…it was well worth it. I don’t know any family who plays more games than this one.

Are you still in CA or have you returned? I agree… Devon does not seem like the salesman type. I think he would have a hard time lying.

I flew back to Arizona on Thursday.
Looks like Devon won’t have to do a lot of selling, but it sounds like he will need to make some phone calls. I don’t think he is going to be paid until they get some new data processing jobs, so that may be incentive to get on the phone.

At least he didn’t go to UA or Santa Cruz so he’s employable doing all kinds of things.
