About Us

Dr. Teri Aguiar has been teaching Emergency Cardiac Care courses through the American Heart Association since 1980 and is currently under the auspices of the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). She instructs both public and private classes as well as college and university courses. She is an Adjunct Professor of Sport Psychology at The Golf Academy of America where she is privileged to provide elite golfers evidence-based research instruction on the mental aspects of golf for performance-enhancement.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, San Diego State University
Master's Degree in Kinesiology, UCLA
Ph.D. in Sport Psychology (minor in Exercise Physiology), University of N.Texas

Past clients include nurses, physicians, dieticians, first responders, athletes, coaches, elementary through college-aged students, church groups, teachers, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts. Courses are customized to meet the needs of clients and produced using various media sources to reinforce information in an entertaining and motivating manner. Ample hands-on practice time and state-of-the-art mannequins and automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are provided.
