It only took 22 hours from Hotel to Home. That involved changing planes in Tokyo and San Francisco.
Interestingly, we got to celebrate Valentine’s Day twice. We left Taiwan and Tokyo in the morning of February 14, and as we flew east the sun set and then rose again — and we arrived in San Francisco on the morning of February 14.
Crossing the International Date Line is weird.

Get rested fast! I have problems galore! Not really, but Facebook is all mixed up, so next week, when you are a human again, I need you. At the same time, I need the little ear things that you got before you left. Dick brought me some, but I am in need again.
Would you like to live in the Orient year round? How about Gisele? Does she get homesick?

I wouldn’t mind living there for an extended time, and I think Gisele would be OK too. We both really enjoyed our visit, though if Devon weren’t living there it would be less interesting.
