Or&#8230;?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When the evening news comes on and the first half of the program discusses the shooting in Colorado, I find myself fast forwarding through it.  I don&#8217;t want to know any more about it.  A crazy person shot and killed 15 people, wounded 50 more.  OK.  That&#8217;s all I want to know.  Let&#8217;s talk about something else.<\/p>\n<p>I think that partly I don&#8217;t want to give any recognition to the person, which may have been his motive.  I don&#8217;t want to know his name, or where he lived, or why he did it.  Let him remain anonymous.  <\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t want to talk about it, and yet here I am talking about it (or talking about not talking about it&#8230;).  But it keeps getting thrust in my face, every time I look at the news or Face the Press, or even Jay Leno, and I keep turning away.<\/p>\n<p>Enough said.  Let&#8217;s move on.
