{"id":261,"date":"2010-08-26T19:58:04","date_gmt":"2010-08-27T02:58:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/daryllafferty.com\/blog\/2010\/08\/26\/a-depressing-poll\/"},"modified":"2010-08-26T19:58:04","modified_gmt":"2010-08-27T02:58:04","slug":"a-depressing-poll","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/daryllafferty.com\/blog\/2010\/08\/26\/a-depressing-poll\/","title":{"rendered":"A Depressing Poll"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Economist published a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.economist.com\/blogs\/democracyinamerica\/2010\/08\/islamic_cultural_centre_sorta_near_ground_zero\">poll<\/a> a couple of days ago that asked (among other things):<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Do you think that Muslims have a constitutional right to build a mosque &#8230; near the World Trade Center site?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The question wasn&#8217;t &#8220;Is it wise?&#8221; or &#8220;Does it make you uncomfortable?&#8221;, or &#8220;Do you hate the idea, and hate Muslims?&#8221;.
