All the miles of sand you see will be covered with 10s of feet of water in a few hours.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/daryllafferty.com\/blog\/wp-images\/FundyBeach.jpg\" alt=\"Fundy Beach\" width=500\/><\/p>\n<p>There are lots of rocks like the one in the picture below along the beach.  The rock is very soft here, and the deepest areas of carving indicate where the waves spend more time than elsewhere.  Remember that the tide comes in and out like a sine wave, rapidly in the middle, but slowly at the top and bottom.
