Here&#8217;s a picture of it taken from the NB end. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/daryllafferty.com\/blog\/wp-images\/LongBridge.jpg\" alt=\"Long Bridge\" width=500\/><\/p>\n<p>We drove over from PEI yesterday. The bridge is only 2 lanes, one in each direction, no passing the whole way. On the NB end, as you see from the picture, it is highly elevated to connect with the cliffs on the shore. <\/p>\n<p>Obviously the ocean must not be very deep across the whole strait.
