{"id":104,"date":"2007-05-06T20:05:54","date_gmt":"2007-05-07T03:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/daryllafferty.com\/blog\/?p=104"},"modified":"2007-06-04T12:17:54","modified_gmt":"2007-06-04T19:17:54","slug":"5-months-and-50-pounds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/daryllafferty.com\/blog\/2007\/05\/06\/5-months-and-50-pounds\/","title":{"rendered":"5 Months and 50 Pounds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apollo is now just 5 months old, and weighs just 50 pounds. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/daryllafferty.com\/blog\/wp-images\/Apollo 5 weeks.jpg\" alt=\"Apollo at 5 months old\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He goes through 20 pounds of dry and maybe 5 pounds of canned puppy food in about 2 weeks; nearly that much comes out the other end (Derek probably thinks it&#8217;s much more).  <\/p>\n<p>You are supposed to be able to start them pulling a sled or scooter when they reach 45 pounds, so I think it&#8217;s time he got to work.  He gets bored pretty easily, which means digging or chewing or howling or whining.  We try to take him to the dog park every couple of days, but I don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s often enough.<\/p>\n<p>This picture doesn&#8217;t do him justice &#8212; he seems bigger than he looks here!
