Mozilla has released a new security update to Firefox. If you are set to receive updates automatically, it may have already happened for you. Check to see that you are using version 1.5.0.2 (Help, About).
Nothing noticeable has been changed, it just improves your security. All my extensions are still working fine.

Yeah, I noticed mine was updated automatically last night, and even my work system updated automatically today. I also noticed my Zone Alarm updated today. Any news there?

I finally was able to upgrade my work laptop to 1.5. I have been using 1.0 since I use an extension called SwitchProxy that allows me to quickly change the proxy settings for the various networks I connect to on a regular basis. When 1.5 first came out, the author of SwitchProxy did not update his code and the extension would no longer work. I checked again last night and found that he has finally updated it so I was able to upgrade.
I have been using the 1.5 version on our home system all along so I have had the opportunity to compare 1.5 with the 1.0 version. The biggest difference has been in the speed of using the back button. The 1.5 version is much faster and has really improved surfing speed.
Anyway, now I am up to date on both systems.

This morning LogMeIn was automatically updated. What’s up with all the softwares updating at the same time?

It’s a Microsoft conspiracy.
